Convenors

Giovanna Di Martino is A.G. Leventis Research Fellow of Ancient Greek Literature at UCL. She has worked on the reception of Aeschylus in Italy 1500–1960 for her PhD under the supervision of Fiona Macintosh and is currently working with the APGRD on the Translating Ancient Greek Drama project. She has written on translation in Italy in the early modern period and recently published the monograph Translating and Adapting Aeschylus’ Seven Against Thebes in America (Skenè, Verona). 

Cécile Dudouyt is Assistant Professor at Paris 13 where she teaches French-English Translation and Translation Studies. Her research explores the reception of Sophocles in English and in French from the Renaissance to the Enlightenment.
